Why choose an IP system over a 2-wire system?

IP System vs. 2-Wire System

An IP system refers to a pure internet protocol, IP is part of a longer abbreviation which you may have seen or heard, TCP/IP, that stands for Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol. (Iit’s called IP for short). 

This can be particularly useful for large scale installations, as less time is spent sorting equipment and programming.

How to connect the app

When purchasing a MƎET monitor, users are given a license for the M ƎET MƎ app. The app allows users to have the call via their smart phone/tablet and view visitors before answering a call.

The license is a digital code which is free with every Fermax M ƎET monitor. Once the license has been entered, up-to 8 smartphones can be used on one license. (Insert hyperlink to monitors blog)

For connectivity on the project site, an uplink internet connection of at least 3Mb/s is necessary. The call divert service is based on the connection between the app and Fermax MƎET MƎ cloud server.

In some countries the call divert may not be available due to local service restrictions on Internet conference services.

App Installation for your customers

Firstly, the application must be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. Each MƎET monitor has a sticker indicating the username and password which must be entered into the app. Once registered, users will be taken to the main screen, from here there are various icons which users can choose from.
