SRS ANSI-LIP-50 - 50mm Extension Lip for ANSI Electric Strikes
This product is an extension lip and made by SRS, renowned for their high quality door entry products. The extension lip accessory is used when installing an electric strike in a door with a different thickness than the standard 1 3/4 thick door that closes flush (or near flush) with the jamb face.
Electric strikes are an access control device used for doors. They replace the fixed strike faceplate often used with a latchbar (also known as a keeper).
Most aluminium frames (shop front section) are 100 x 45 mm. Using a standard ANSI strike and a 25 mm lip extension will usually be a perfect fit, this LIP is longer for wider door jambs.
This particular extension lip is used in conjunction with our SRS range of electric strikes ANSI-12-L and ANSI-12-S.
