Offer true fail safe function. For use where a high security and vandal resistance must be balanced with the need for safety. For example, high rise residential accommodation, multiple occupancy office buildings, and elderly persons units where quick evacuation and access for the emergency services may be necessary.

Body, faceplate and pivoting staple are manufactured from high grade steel. Tested to 1,000,000 operations. High strength, resists 750kg side pressure on the pivoting staple. Can be used with both left and right hand doors without adjustment.

DC continuous duty fail safe with builtÐ in microswitch. The strike is closed as long as the current is on and opens automatically when the current is switched off. A microswitch monitors the latchbolt engagement. Will open even when a side pressure up to 500kg is applied.

Supplied fitted with faceplate 16 and secured with antiÐvandal screws.
