Alpro AL1982-35.5 mortice door magnet featuring 15,000N (~1,500kgf) holding force with a patented pivoting pin head mechanism incorporating integrated ball bearings for secondary locking under pressure. This Vortex magnet operates on any voltage from 12VDC to 24VDC and includes dual monitoring via two built-in SPST reed switch sensors for both lock status and door position, plus Early Warning pressure sensors that trigger an alarm before access is forced open.
The unit mortice-mounts for a fully concealed installation. The magnet body is 226mm x 35.5mm x 26.5mm and the armature plate with bracket measures 226mm x 35.5mm x 25.7mm. Wiring includes DSS (yellow, normally open), LSS (blue, normally open), and Early Warning alarm output (brown/white/grey, C/NC/NO). The built-in buzzer can be disabled via DIP switch 4. A filtered and regulated DC power source is required — the DC output must not be connected to earth ground.
