The Videx V-5118 is a hands free voice-switched (half-duplex) intercom from the 5000 Series Eclipse range. Designed for traditional 4+1 audio and video door entry systems, it features a slim, low-profile surface-mounted ABS housing with four function buttons: answer call, door open, auxiliary service and privacy on/off. LED indicators confirm talk/listen status, door open and privacy activation.

The privacy function mutes the call tone when activated, preventing incoming calls from sounding. The three-position call tone volume switch doubles as the privacy control — the left position activates privacy mode. Compatible with 4K, 8K and VR range audiokits.
