Vicon 1055835 V2100B-BOX BACKBOX is a professional-grade aluminium junction box kit designed to simplify cabling and provide a weather-resistant mounting solution for V2100B series bullet cameras.
A security technician installs the junction box by drilling four holes into the mounting surface using the provided template and securing the box with plastic anchors and tapping screws. The camera is first fastened to an included adapter plate, and the cabling is fed through a waterproof rubber bushing and compression gland to ensure a hermetic seal. During daily operation, the backbox protects sensitive RJ-45 connections and power terminals from moisture and physical tampering, whether the cable enters through the rear of the unit or via the side-conduit entry point. This installation is ideally suited for exposed outdoor walls, industrial ceilings, and locations utilizing surface-mounted electrical conduit where a clean, professional, and watertight termination is required.
