A security professional installs this specialized camera into a 90-degree corner, typically in elevators, lobbies, or observation rooms, to eliminate all blind spots. The unit is housed in an anti-ligature, impact-resistant aluminum enclosure that prevents the attachment of cords or ligatures, making it safe for custodial or healthcare use. It is powered via PoE, 12 VDC, or 24 VAC and features a wide-angle 2.4 mm lens that captures a massive 121-degree horizontal field of view. During daily operation, the integrated AI object classification identifies people and vehicles to minimize false alarms, while invisible 940 nm IR LEDs provide high-quality night vision without a distracting red glow. This installation is ideally suited for high-traffic public areas and secure facilities where a combination of high-resolution forensic detail and vandal-proof (IK10) reliability is required.
