An installation professional mounts the backbox directly to a wall or ceiling surface, providing a spacious internal cavity to house cable connectors, pigtails, and video baluns. The camera is then fastened to the front of the box, with a side or rear conduit entry point allowing for protected wiring via standard electrical piping. During daily operation, the sealed aluminium construction protects sensitive connections from environmental moisture, dust, and physical interference. This installation is ideally suited for outdoor perimeters, exposed concrete ceilings, and industrial sites where cables cannot be recessed behind a wall and require a weather-resistant, professional termination point.
