Fermax F-9538 MEET PC Desktop USB Proximity Reader
The Fermax F-9538 is a USB-powered desktop proximity card reader designed for use with the MEET Management Software. It enables installers to read and enrol MIFARE proximity cards during system configuration, assigning cards to individual users within the MEET IP door entry system.
The reader connects via USB and is recognised as a Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge device. It supports multiple communication protocols with a selectable MEET protocol mode required for integration with the MEET Management Software. Baud rate is selectable between 9600 and 19200 bps via the onboard programming button. A blue indicator LED and audible beep provide confirmation of successful card reads.
