The Fermax F-4534 is a USB Desfire programmer that enables encryption of MIFARE DESFIRE EV2 identifiers with a dealer or installer code. This provides an additional layer of security by ensuring credentials are uniquely encoded to a specific installation or dealer.
The device also functions as a USB desktop reader for reading MIFARE DESFIRE EV2 13.56 MHz cards and key fobs, facilitating credential management from a PC without needing to visit the installation site. Once connected, the DESFIRE SECURITY PROGRAMMER (DSP) management software must be launched.
