Fermax F-5223 AC-MAX 2-Door Access Control Kit

The Fermax F-5223 is a networked access control kit for managing two doors. It comprises an AC-MAX CU IP controller, EXP2D I/O expander, PWR2D power supply and BOX-IP-15 metal enclosure, all pre-wired for rapid installation. Each door supports both entry and exit readers, allowing up to 4 Wiegand readers or 4 FPAC-MAX RS-485 fingerprint readers across the two doors.

The AC-MAX CU controller connects to the management PC via Ethernet, while the EXP2D expander communicates over the RS-485 bus. Each door has dedicated power outputs for readers (0.2 A) and locks (1.0 A), with overload protection on all outputs. Optional battery backup is supported with configurable charge current (0.3 A or 0.6 A). The system is managed through the free AC-MAX LT 2.0 software, supporting 8,192 credentials per kit, real-time event logging, anti-passback, occupancy control and timetable management.
