Comelit 1456B ViP Multi-Apartment Gateway for IP Door Entry Systems
The Comelit 1456B is a DIN-rail mounted multi-apartment gateway for the Comelit ViP IP-based door entry system. It provides the Ethernet interface between the ViP network and a local area network, enabling communication with PCs, routers and other IP devices on the building network.
The gateway is equipped with an input for connection to the Comelit 1440 distributor and 4 outputs for connecting ViP internal units or other apparatus, depending on configuration. The 1456B does not require a dedicated power supply but supports an additional PSU via the Comelit 1441 or 1441B to power connected ViP internal units.
Supporting up to 200 apartments per gateway with up to 15 slave devices per apartment, the 1456B integrates SIP telephony (PSTN/GSM), smartphone app connectivity via the ComelitViP Remote App, and remote configuration through ViP Manager software or web interface. DynDNS support enables remote access for system management.
