The Comelit-PAC 909020120 GS3 High Frequency Mullion Reader is a compact, high-performance access control device built for reliability and flexibility in both indoor and outdoor installations. Designed specifically for mounting on door frames (mullions), this slimline reader delivers high-security authentication using MIFARE and DESFire EV1 technologies widely regarded as robust solutions against card cloning and unauthorised duplication. Compact but with full features, the mullion reader by PAC has been designed to be installed onto a door frame and includes a tamper switch and mounting plate for an easy and secure installation.

The reader uses MIFARE and DESFire EV1 reading protocols, which provide a solution to combat card cloning.

High-Security Smart Credential Compatibility

Equipped with PAC Ops, MIFARE, and DESFire EV1 reading capabilities, the GS3 reader offers superior protection against tampering and card emulation. When paired with PAC 512 controllers and PAC smart credentials, it supports AES-128 bit encryption, delivering a high level of security that meets the standards of sensitive commercial and governmental environments.

Flexible Output and System Integration

This reader supports multiple output formats including PAC, PAC64, Wiegand 26/34, and Magstripe emulation, making it highly compatible with a wide variety of existing access control systems.
