The Alpro EB501-22 is a compact electric mini bolt designed for remote access and exit control of timber and metal doors, as well as narrow profile joinery, cabinets and showcases. Operating in Fail Open (Power to Lock) mode at 12VDC, the bolt retracts on power failure to allow free egress.

The EB501-22 features a 12mm diameter stainless steel bolt with 12mm throw and a stainless steel strike plate. A continuously rated solenoid ensures reliable long-term operation. Door position switch monitoring provides status feedback, and the selectable auto relock timer offers 0, 3, 6 or 9 second intervals. Full protection against transient voltages and reverse polarity is built in. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally in the frame or door using concealed mortice installation.
