The kit enables surface installation where mortice mounting is not practical, and includes a surface mount housing, surface mount strike box and long strike plate.
This kit is essential when the DB25KO bolt cannot be mortice-mounted into the door or frame. It provides a secure and professional surface-mounted solution suitable for timber, metal and glass doors. For glass applications, the optional DB25KO/SMK-DP dress plates should be ordered separately to provide a finished appearance.
