The Videx V-2291A4 is a pre-wired audio control cabinet for the VX2200 digital door entry system, providing fault isolation for up to 4 apartment connections across up to 4 entrances. The cabinet is housed in a lockable powder-coated steel enclosure (CAB1) and is fitted with a UBPSU5.0 13.8Vdc 5A switched mode power supply with battery back-up facility, an Art.701T BST/GMT time clock and a VX123-A four-entrance audio switching card.

The cabinet includes 1x Art.2204N 4-way isolation card, providing individual fault protection on each apartment connection. The isolation card features plug-in connections for easy maintenance, status LEDs for fault diagnosis (green for active output, red for fault, yellow for S1 active) and a 6-way dip-switch for addressing up to ID.44 (output 180). If a short or fault occurs on any apartment connection, the isolation card protects the remaining apartments from disruption.
