This surface mounted monitor has a colour LCD screen along with five buttons to control its unique features including camera recall, timed privacy and hands-free communication. It also has three LEDs related to the videophone operation.

The push to talk button requires the user to hold down the button for one second each time they wish to speak through the monitor. The monitor also has a camera recall function which opens a connection between the user and the panel whilst in standby mode. The monitor also has a privacy function which can be either on, off or timed.
