The Videx V-MTPXBK-RS-MF is a compact black surface mount Mifare proximity reader with RS485 communication for the Videx WS4 Web Access system and compatible controllers. It reads Mifare Classic, Desfire and Ultralight credentials at 13.56MHz with a read range of up to 6cm.

The RS485 interface enables stable communication over cable runs of up to 80m from the WS4 controller. LEDs, tamper detection and buzzer are managed by the WS4 controller software. The IP65 rated black ABS housing with resin potted electronics ensures reliable operation in exposed external locations.
