The Videx V-8K-6S/CL is a 6 way surface mounted audio door entry kit from the 8000 Series modular range, incorporating a two-code digital codelock module (Art.8800BL) for keypad access control. It uses a standard 3+1 audio wiring configuration with electronic call tone and built-in lock relay.

The outdoor station comprises an Art.8836M speaker unit module with 6 call buttons and an Art.8800BL codelock module with blue backlit keypad, housed in an Art.8882 surface mounting box. The kit includes 6x Art.3011 wall mount handsets from the 3000 Series Smart Range, each with a door open button and 3-level call tone volume control. The Art.322 power supply unit is included for systems of 3 ways and above.

The codelock module provides 2 independent access codes (4-8 digits each) with 2 changeover relay outputs. Relay activation time is programmable from 1-99 seconds or latching mode. The system supports up to 3 handsets per call button and requires 4 cores (3+1) from the door station to each handset.
