Videx V-4849/M 4000 Series EM Proximity Reader for VProx

The Videx V-4849/M is a modular EM proximity reader module for the 4000 Series door entry system. It operates as an extension reader for the Videx VProx series of proximity access control CPUs including the VP20, VP100, VP250, VP1000, VP4000 and 1000A. The reader is powered directly from the VProx CPU reader input and features a tri-colour indication LED (amber for standby, green for access granted, red for access denied) and an internal audible buzzer for user feedback.

The reader supports EM4100 compatible proximity fobs and cards at 125kHz with a read range of approximately 5cm. It connects to the CPU via a 5-wire connection (+, -, RK, LR, LG). Finished in matt 316 marine grade brushed stainless steel and compatible with the full range of Videx 4000 Series surface and flush back boxes.
