A specialized technician installs this upgrade module by removing the front plate of an existing V-CELL corner camera and replacing it with this new 5 MP assembly. Since all camera electronics and the lens are mounted directly to the removable front plate, the original stainless steel housing remains in the wall, significantly reducing installation time and labor costs. Once secured with security screws, the camera is powered via the existing PoE or 24 VAC/12 VDC infrastructure. During daily operation, the upgraded 2.4 mm lens provides a wide 121° field of view, while the new AI engine enables sophisticated object classification.
