Shielded CAT6 cable is used in areas where there is high electromagnetic interference. This is ideal for entry phone systems as it reduces noise on the line enabling clearer conversation.
When installing the cable must not be bent too tightly and wire pairs should not be untwisted. The maximum single length is 100 metres.
