Securitron XDT-12 Exit Delay Timer for Delayed Egress Applications

The Securitron XDT-12 is a sophisticated, modular exit delay timer board designed for fail-safe environments requiring delayed egress functionality. Operating at 12 VDC, this board-only unit integrates with Securitron Magnalock electromagnetic locks, Touch Sense Bars and other switch-equipped initiating devices to create a code-compliant delayed egress system. It meets NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, BOCA, UBC, SBC and National Building Code of Canada requirements for Special Locking Arrangements.

The XDT-12 provides three independently configurable 5A SPDT relay outputs for lock control, remote alarm and local alarm functions. Nuisance delay and release times are digitally set using precise DIP switches, eliminating trial-and-error adjustment. External switches such as time clocks can put the timer into different operational modes when delayed exit is not required at all times, making it well suited to healthcare, retail and mixed-use environments.
