IP Door Entry EVE196-X3-RS Proximity Reader Control Unit

IP Door Entry EVE196-X3-RS proximity reader control unit with MIFARE 13.56 MHz technology and anti-clone protection. Supports up to 3000 proximity keys per unit and is managed in real time via the BATICONNECT CLOUD platform 24/7/365. Designed for networked door entry and access control installations, connecting to IPGUARD panels or 4G data modems (I4GDATA10-UK / I4GDATA4) via RS485 bus.

The EVE196-X3-RS provides a single lock output relay (NO, C, NC) rated at 5A, an exit button input, and a proximity reader input. It connects to the bus network using Class E (CAT6) U/UTP cabling with a maximum bus length of 400 metres. A 120 Ohm termination resistor (or RT2 switch) is required on the last unit in the bus chain. The unit requires a dedicated 12VDC / 2A power supply separate from the locking circuit PSU. Default commissioning passcode is 0000 via TELU handheld programmer. RS485 protocol is set to Protocol 5 when connected to an IPGUARD panel and Protocol 3 when connected to a proximity reader.

Multiple EVE196-X3-RS units can be daisy-chained on the RS485 bus for multi-door installations. Each unit controls one door with independent time zone control, 8 week types, and email alert capability. The integral timeclock synchronises automatically with the BATICONNECT CLOUD platform. Supports fail secure, fail safe, and automation/volt-free locking configurations.
