Fermax F-6992 Cityline EM Proximity Reader for Access Control

The Fermax F-6992 is an EM 125KHz proximity reader from the Cityline aesthetic range, providing contactless card and key fob access control. In standalone mode with the integrated controller, it supports up to 400 users. It can also operate in centralised mode with an MDS central unit (ref. 2405) for up to 1020 users or with a CAC central unit (ref. 4410) for up to 2048 users.

The reader is integrated into the Cityline aluminium panel format and provides acoustic and visual LED confirmation of card acceptance or rejection. No physical contact between the reader and credential is required, with a reading distance of approximately 5cm for cards and 1.5cm for key fobs. Programming can be carried out using a master card, the manual programming keypad (ref. 2306) or via PC software. Supplied with S1 flush box (ref. 8948) for flush mounted installation.
