The Entryphone PN4GSM is a GSM modem module designed for use with the PinNet 4 access control system. When fitted to the PN4CU control unit, it enables two key remote management functions: SMS-based fob administration and door release by phone.

Key fobs can be added or deleted remotely by sending SMS text messages through the Entryphone web or telephone service, making it ideal for buildings without on-site management. The system can also be configured to allow validated telephone numbers to operate the door release (Lock 1 only) simply by calling the unit, with caller ID recognition providing secure, free-of-charge access on most networks.

The modem also provides power failure alerts, calling a configured number if mains power is lost, with a configurable delay of 0 to 99 minutes before the alert is triggered.
