Entryphone GPRU General Purpose 12 Amp Relay Unit for Door Entry Systems

The Entryphone GPRU is a general purpose relay unit comprising a 12 amp relay mounted with a bridge rectifier on a compact PCB. It operates on AC or DC at either 5V or 12V, selected via an on-board jumper. Changeover contacts (N/O, N/C, COM) provide flexible switching options.

The GPRU serves two primary applications in door entry installations. First, it can be placed in circuit to switch the voltage supply locally to an electric release, significantly reducing current draw on long cable runs and avoiding volt drop issues. Second, it can switch a third-party device that has its own power supply, such as a maglock or gate operator.

This is the PCB-only version. A boxed version (GPRU-BX) is also available for installations requiring an enclosed unit.
