Entryphone 531V Wall-Mounted Colour Video Telephone for 500 Series

The Entryphone 531V is a wall-mounted colour video telephone for use with Entryphone 500 Series 5-wire video door entry systems. It features a 3.5 inch LCD colour screen that activates automatically when the telephone is called, along with full two-way speech via the plug-in handset.

The video screen and speech circuits turn on automatically on an incoming call. Lifting the handset enables conversation with the caller. The door release button on the upper right of the unit operates the electric lock release and is only active when the screen is on. A door open indicator confirms when the release has been activated. The unit turns itself off either shortly after the door has been released or after approximately 90 seconds of operation.

The 500 Series is designed to enable video systems to be installed on standard audio wiring, using just five common conductors for video, speech, signalling and power throughout the system. The 531V can be desk-mounted using the optional desk plate and conversion kit.
