The Entryphone 500-DCU is a door capture relay unit designed for multi-door installations within the Entryphone 500 Series 5-wire video door entry system. It enables multiple entrance panels to operate on a single system by automatically switching between door panels when a call button is pressed, ensuring that only the active panel is connected at any time.

Multiple 500-DCU units can be daisy-chained to support any number of door panels. When a button is pressed on one entrance panel, the relay captures that panel and disconnects all others. Each 500-DCU also provides a local phones connection for up to 5 handsets wired directly to it. The unit connects via the standard 7-core cable used throughout the 500 Series (Video-, Video+, Data, 24V-, 24V+, Lock Data+, Lock Data-).
