Daitem wireless handsets provide ease of use with hands-free or hand held features and full duplex conversation. The handset can control operation of electric locks, gates and barriers, garage doors and lighting. The SC101AX uses a lithium battery base to charge the handset instead of mains connection.

The LCD screen provides information on its associated functions status, for example if a door is open or closed. For programming and control there are 6 buttons as well as a 4 way navigation button which is under the flip open cover as well as 6 buttons for controlling settings and functions.

The handset to controller range goes up to 400 m, but this is dependent on obstacles between the handset and controller that can cause interference.
