This box has been designed for housing audio or video entrance panels consisting of one module. It is part of the modular Powercom range, known for its IP54 rated panels that come with blue LED backlighting.
It is used to complete the installation of an entrance panel where surface mounting is required. The stainless steel provides basic protection for the system, making it more durable.
