CDVi VHLD Adjustable Delay Module for Fail-Safe Lock Release
The CDVi VHLD is a compact delay module that provides a 3 to 10 second adjustable hold-off delay for fail-safe locks. When power is removed the lock releases, and when power is re-applied the module holds the lock in the released state for the pre-set delay period before re-engaging. This eliminates the need for a separate relay and timer, simplifying wiring. It can be operated directly from a simple push button connected as a request-to-exit device, making it ideal for straightforward single-door access control setups.
