Crestron Interface - 50 Users

Bpt recently became an Integrated Partner of Crestron Electronics, a world leader in the field of audio/video and home automation systems, for the joint development of IP digital video entry systems. During the course of this close collaboration with the American corporation, Bpt has developed custom software which makes its Xip video entry system fully compatible with Crestrons TPMC-4SM touch panels.

The joint project included the following Bpt devices:

• ETI/XIP network interface
• ETI/SER network server
• XIP/PORTER porter switchboard software

These systems are CRESTRON CERTIFIED and make it possible to utilize a number of video entry functions with Crestrons terminals:

• reply/refuse calls from DIGITHA entry panels or porter switchboards
• door opening function
• display images from entry panels
• calls from porter
• intercom function
• privacy for each device
• activation of auxiliary commands
• transfer of calls to other receivers

In addition, thanks to Bpts XIP technology, it is possible to select additional video entry system functions:

• access control
• weekly programming of call re-routing or transfer
• transfer of calls from the porter switchboard with video preview of the calling party at the receiver before the call is effectively transferred (blind call)
• possibility of displaying a list of names to be called on the DIGITHA display panel
