The Bell 801 is one of the most widely installed door entry telephones in the UK market. Constructed from white high-impact ABS plastic, this wall-mounted handset is known for its durability and straightforward operation, making it particularly suitable for elderly residents thanks to its wide handset profile.

The lock release push-button is discreetly positioned on the base of the unit, beneath the handset cradle, to prevent inadvertent operation. The electronic ringing tone offers two levels (HI/LO) and is automatically reduced in volume when the handset is lifted off the hook for safety. The 801 operates on both 12V AC and 12V DC, providing flexibility across different system configurations.

The 801 is compatible with the Bell 900 series, VRK vandal resistant systems, CS combined door entry and coded access systems, Bellprox proximity systems, and BSX isolating exchange systems.
