The Bell CSPP-7/VRS is a 7 station stainless steel audio door entry intercom panel, surface mounted, with a built-in Paxton compact proximity access control reader. This system allows residents, tenants, or staff to access the building easily with a keyfob, while visitors use the Bell System door entry telephone. The proximity system uses a shadow card system for validating and voiding users, with all programming performed via function cards. A starter pack of keyfobs is included, and additional keyfobs can be purchased as required. The Paxton compact panel-mount reader is securely mounted on the rear of the panel and protected by a Lexan window. The reader contains all electronics, with three cable pairs for power, electric release, and an optional exit button. The lock output is fail-secure by default, with a timed lock output set at 5 seconds, and can be changed to fail-safe using the included card. The panel is manufactured from 2.5 mm 316 marine grade stainless steel with an integral grill protecting the speech unit and is supplied with a low-profile surface mounting box. Alternatively, the panels can be supplied with a flush fitting zintec back-box and vandal resistant bolts. For panels with more than 7 buttons, the vandal resistant style is recommended.
