The Bell VRK5-225 is installed by flush-mounting the 316-grade marine stainless steel entrance panel into the building’s exterior wall using the provided back box. The system utilizes traditional 4+n wiring to connect the five vandal-resistant buttons to the included Model 801 audio handsets. Central to the operation is the Model 225 power supply, which provides stable 12V DC power for the speech modules and electronic lock releases. During daily use, visitors press the assigned call button to initiate clear two-way audio; residents then use the handset’s dedicated button to release the door lock. This kit is ideal for environments where high-durability hardware and clear audio communication are essential for building security.
