The Bell CSPP-14/VR is a comprehensive 14-button stainless steel audio door entry intercom panel, designed for flush mounting and featuring a built-in Paxton compact proximity access control reader. This robust system is ideally suited for larger residential or commercial buildings, allowing convenient keyfob access for authorized users while enabling visitor communication via the Bell System telephone. The proximity system utilizes a secure shadow card mechanism for efficient user management, with all programming intuitively performed using dedicated function cards. A convenient starter pack of keyfobs is included, and additional keyfobs can be purchased as needed for system expansion. The Paxton compact panel-mount reader is securely mounted on the rear of the panel and protected by a robust Lexan window, ensuring its longevity. The reader's self-contained electronics include three cable pairs for power, electric lock release, and an optional exit button connection. The lock output is set to fail-secure by default, with a timed lock output of 5 seconds, which can be easily changed to fail-safe using the included card. The panel is manufactured from durable 3 mm anodized aluminium with an integral grill protecting the speech unit and is supplied with a low-profile surface mounting box or, optionally, a flush-fitting zintec back-box and vandal-resistant bolts. For panels with more than 7 buttons, the vandal-resistant style is highly recommended to ensure optimal durability and security.
