The Assa Abloy 14/505 12V Electric Strike is an electric strike ideal for situations where medium security needed, for example; areas within a building designated with restricted access such as retail stores, employee only areas, secured storage rooms, shared access doors and more..
This electric strike is fail-locking and therefore used for keeping doors locked during a power failure.This means that the door cannot be opened from the secure side unless mechanical override methods (like a key) are used.

- Strike opens when current is on and locks automatically when current is off
- Tested to 1,000,000 operations
- Medium strength - resists 450kg sidepressure
- Suitable for use with 15mm latch with 3mm door gap
