The Alpro AL2400-LP is a patented compact surface door magnet from the Vortex 2400 range, delivering 1,500kg holding force through a combination of magnetic and mechanical locking. A strong alloy pin engages into a conical aperture in the armature plate, providing both magnetic retention and mechanical resistance to forced entry. The unit is 75% smaller and consumes 50% less power than standard face-to-face magnets of equivalent performance. Dual monitoring covers both locking and door position status. Early Warning (EW) pressure sensors with an integrated buzzer alert if the door is being forced. A built-in LED provides visual lock status indication. The secure armature plate bracket prevents unauthorised removal. No residual magnetism remains when power is removed, ensuring clean release. Surface mounting allows easy retrofit to existing door frames. L, Z and glass door brackets are available separately. Satin anodised finish. Covered by a 5 year guarantee.
