The Aiphone LE-A is an open-voice audio sub station designed for use with LEF series master stations. It provides hands-free intercom communication with a built-in call button for initiating calls to the master station.

The LE-A connects to LEF series master stations such as the LEF-3, LEF-5, LEF-10 and LEF-10S using a simple 3-wire connection (terminals 1, E and -). In single master systems, wiring can be reduced to 2-wire with the addition of an NP-25V capacitor. Each LE-A connects its terminal 1 to a unique numbered terminal (1-10) on the master station, with E and - shared across all sub stations.

The unit is surface mounted and suitable for residential and commercial internal communication applications. When used with the LEF-10S master and BG-10C selective call adaptor, the system supports up to 10 sub stations with selective calling capability.
