The Aiphone JVS-1V is a complete video intercom box set suitable for houses, offices and single-occupancy apartments. The kit contains everything needed for a basic one-door, one-monitor video door entry installation.

The included JV-1MD master monitor station features a 7 inch TFT LCD screen with electrostatic touch buttons for hands-free (VOX) or push-to-talk communication. It stores up to 30 visitor call images in internal memory and provides a door release dry contact output rated at 24 V AC/DC, 1 A (N/O) plus an option output for controlling a secondary device such as a gate or light. A blue notification LED indicates muted ringtone or unconfirmed recorded images.

The JV-DV door station is a vandal-resistant surface-mount unit with a die-cast aluminium front panel in gunmetal silver finish, 1/5 inch colour CMOS camera, white LED illumination and backlit nameplate. It is rated IP54 and IK08 for weather and impact resistance.

Simple two-conductor wiring connects the door station to the monitor, with a maximum cable run of 100 m using 0.8-1.2 mm (20-16 AWG) PE-insulated cable. The system can be expanded with one JV-1FD expansion station for a second answering point.
