This electric strike from Adams Rite is used for remote access with the 4700 series (or similar) range of dead latchs.

The door lock is engineered with stainless steel for strength and security. This means that it is UL Listed for burglary resistance.

This mechanism is suitable for aluminium doors, has a 907kg holding force, and additionally comes with a 3 year manufacturers warranty.

Comes as Fail Locked so it should not be used in public areas where it could pose a problem in an emergency. For example: if there were a fire and a power failure people may needed to evacuate through the door but if the door were to lock this would prevent their exit.
