The Videx V-UIM-138 is a programmable user information display module designed for DDA-compliant door entry applications on the VX2200 system. It can be incorporated into any vandal resistant or VR4K door panel. The module features a 2 line, 16 character blue back-lit LCD display protected behind a 6mm Lexan window, with voice annunciation output for accessibility compliance. Programming is carried out via the built-in USB port using VX2X00 PC software (version 7.0.0.7 or later), allowing user names, apartment numbers and additional displayed messages to be stored in non-volatile memory. The module connects to the 138N speaker amplifier via a plug-in wire harness and provides 5 programmable auxiliary inputs and 1 switched 0V auxiliary output.
