This powder grey mortise release is a popular installers choice because of its ease of installation and fair price. It is suitable for installing in timber doors and it runs on either 12V DC or 24V DC.
The mortice release is fail locked, therefore the door lock will remain locked when the power fails. Due to this feature, it is not suitable for emergency exit doors.
