The Fadini MEC 800 Special 711884L is a 900 mm stroke on-the-gate oil-hydraulic actuator with hydraulic braking, built for large industrial swing gates. It is designed for big, even in-filled gates, doors and trap doors that need serious, controllable force - the kind of entrance where a lighter operator simply is not enough.

The actuator is driven by a separate MEC 700/80 VENTIL oil-hydraulic motor-pump with an air-cooled motor (sold separately), controlled from an external Fadini ELPRO control panel in a sheltered place. It delivers 0 - 7,000 N of force with thrust adjustable by pressure valves, and two actuators can work on one gate using the double-tank motor-pump unit. This version adds hydraulic slow-down (braking) for a controlled finish to each movement. The 900 mm stroke is one of Fadini's on-demand strokes, alongside the standard 280 and 400 mm.
