The Fadini MEC 200 LB 0.5 HP single-phase is a 230 Vac chain-drive operator for sectional, folding and industrial doors of up to 25 m2. It is an ideal starting point for automating a commercial door on a standard single-phase supply, ending the daily chore of opening it by hand.

Drive comes from a worm gear with bronze crown gear running in an oil bath on ball bearings, transmitted to the door by chain. Torque is set with a mechanical clutch and the opening and closing limits are set mechanically, so commissioning is straightforward. With the reference Z20 1/2" pinion the door travels at 9.6 m/min, and if the power fails a release lever with metal cable lets you operate it by hand, reset with a key.
