The Fadini MEC 200 1 HP three-phase sliding gate motor is a 230/400 Vac industrial operator with a horizontal pinion for gates up to 1,850 kg. When a heavy commercial gate is opened and closed all day, it gives the strength and staying power to stop the entrance becoming a bottleneck. The horizontal pinion version is chosen according to how the rack is fixed to the gate.

Inside, a worm and bronze crown gear in an oil bath on ball bearings drives the pinion, while the aluminium gearbox and cover are built for a long working life. A mechanical clutch lets you adjust the torque to the gate, and if the power is off the E17 spanner (supplied) frees the gate to be moved by hand. The gate travels at 10 m/min with 80 Nm of rated torque from a 0.73 kW motor.

Fadini recommends a voltage cut-off microswitch on three-phase operators, which cuts power when the release spanner is inserted or the cover is removed. Specify this horizontal pinion model and give your sliding gate an operator built for heavy, everyday work.
