The Fadini MEC 200 0.5 HP three-phase sliding gate motor with horizontal pinion is an industrial electromechanical operator for gates up to 1,250 kg on a 230/400 Vac supply. It is the entry point to the MEC 200 range for commercial and industrial sites that need a tough, very intensive-duty operator rather than a light residential motor. The horizontal pinion version is chosen according to how the rack is fixed to the gate.

Inside, a worm and bronze crown gear in an oil bath on ball bearings drives the pinion, while the aluminium gearbox and cover are built for a long working life. A mechanical clutch lets you adjust the torque to the gate, and if the power is off the E17 spanner (supplied) frees the gate to be moved by hand. The gate travels at 10 m/min with 40 Nm of rated torque from a 0.37 kW motor.

Fadini recommends a voltage cut-off microswitch on three-phase operators, which cuts power when the release spanner is inserted or the cover is removed. Specify this horizontal pinion model and give your sliding gate an operator built for heavy, everyday work.
