Fermax F-5225 FPAC-MAX Fingerprint Reader for AC-MAX System

The Fermax F-5225 is a biometric fingerprint reader with an integrated ISO/IEC 14443A MIFARE proximity reader, designed for use with the Fermax AC-MAX access control system. Users can be identified by comparing their fingerprint against those stored in the reader memory (1:N mode) or against templates stored on a MIFARE card (1:1 mode), providing maximum privacy and security.

The reader connects to the AC-MAX CU access controller via RS-485 (2-wire), power (2-wire) and Ethernet (UTP). Fingerprint enrolment and deletion are managed over IP through the AC-MAX management software on a PC. IP communication with the FPAC-MAX reader is encrypted using AES128 CBC standards, ensuring resistance to unauthorised decryption.

The reader can store up to 1,900 fingerprint templates while maintaining rapid recognition speed. When 1:1 mode is applied, the highest recognition level is used for maximum accuracy.
