The Fermax F-9425 is a 4-output floor decoder/isolator for the DUOX PLUS 2-wire system. It provides per-output short-circuit isolation, extended derivation distances of up to 100 m per output, and remote terminal programming via dipswitches - eliminating the need to enter individual dwellings.

Each output supports up to 3 terminals (monitors or telephones) per dwelling. Multiple decoders can be installed on each floor. In the event of a short circuit on any output, the remaining outputs and the input DUOX PLUS bus continue to function normally. A red LED on the affected output indicates the fault location.

The decoder supports both sequential and open (non-sequential) address programming via its built-in dipswitches. After remote programming, the decoder automatically locks the Installer Menu on connected monitors (V42.18 or higher), preventing end users from modifying installer parameters. The menu can be temporarily unlocked and will re-lock after 30 minutes.
